Rain Of Animals is the euphonious collaboration between Pepita Emmerichs (Oh Pep!) and Theodore Barnard (Wire & Wool) and their love of all things mandolin, fiddle, guitar, harmony vocals, tunes and songs. Their sound is a modern folk fusion both new and old, unique in it’s instrumental wizardry and musical integrity all at once. Touring prolifically since 22, the duo have performed throughout the UK, EU, AUS and NZ, released their debut, EP and first song; a sign of what is to come in their sophomore album later in 25′ along with a full band lineup including drums, bass and saxophone! They are excited to be performing in Ardfern for the very first time at Craignish Village Hall in their original and beloved duo format.
Pepi will teach a mandolin workshop for players of all levels primarily focusing on technique, tone, tunes and some improvisation concepts for those interested! Bring your mandolin of choice or just your good self, for an afternoon of mandolin nerdiness!
Tickets for Workshop and Gig available at Ardfern Village Store soon or online via
