The Spring Gathering is an annual event bringing together promoters from across the Highlands and Islands with performers, producers, funders and other creative professionals, to network, build key skills and showcase new work. Next fabric drop in workshop at Craignish Village Hall, Ardfern
We are going to be very busy on Saturday 5th March. Here at the hall, from 11.00am, Anna will be showing us the final design for the wall hangings in Hall 1. If you have been before you will have a chance to finish your samples. AND MOST EXCITINGLY!!! you will be able to start working on the final pieces.
We would love to see you at the hall, if you haven’t had a chance to join in yet, here it is.

Later…. there will be much bidding for the wonderful promises on auction in aid of the Ardfern Field Fund at the Galley of Lorne….
Even later…. from 9.00pm in the bar, bring your instruments to join traditional musicians for a jam session.

The first workshop went really well with an array of pleating, weaving, appliqueing, sewing, sticking and many more inspiring ideas coming out of this session. For those of you that couldn’t make the first session, don’t worry, there are more opportunities to get involved. Anna will be at the hall tomorrow afternoon from 12 til 3 if you want to…
Textiles time…
We’re really looking forward to the start of the textile wall hangings project this Saturday – drop in to the hall between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 9th Jan to see what it is all about and take part in a taster session. All welcome and all free … bring something for lunch in case you get peckish!
